AMU Prof. Jacek Pyżalski, PhD (Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań) – Professor at the Faculty of Educational Studies at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. Inez Okulska PhD

Inez Okulska PhD (NASK National Research Institute) – the Head of the Linguistic Engineering and Text Analysis Department at NASK National Research Institute, the Director of the Innovation and Technology Department at the Ministry of Digitalisation. After pursuing a diversified path in human sciences (including, among others, linguistics, comparative literature, cultural studies, philosophy), completed with a PhD degree in translation studies and a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard University, she received her Masters degree at the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology at the Warsaw University of Technology. Her research interests include semantic and pragmalinguistic potential of grammar, she explores the question of her original vector representations of texts and their algebraic potential. She carries out projects related to cybersecurity, mostly at the level of undesirable content detection and classification. She promotes artificial intelligence that supports human work in a transparent manner and innovations that solve actual problems. She was included in the Top100Woman in AI in Poland list. She is the author of a TedX talk.

Magdalena Bigaj (Digital Citizenship Institute Foundation) – the founder and the president of the Digital Citizenship Institute Foundation. The author of a book “Wychowanie przy ekranie” [Upbringing in front of the screen]. Initiator and coauthor of the first Nationwide Digital Hygiene Study in Poland (2022) and the Digital Hygiene Self-Assessment Questionnaire, which is a research and educational tool. Specialist in media studies, researcher and social activist. Expert in the education team at the Social Dialogue Council of the Polish Chamber of Commerce. A member of the Orange Foundation Programme Board. In the beginning of her professional career, for more than a decade, she was working for companies from the internet and new technologies sector. Author of educational and research projects, as well as numerous publications concerning the impact of new technologies on society. Konrad Ciesiołkiewicz PhD – President of Orange Foundation Poland which aims at educating children and youth in the scope of information and media literacy and digital competence, as well as supporting teachers and local community leaders. A graduate in psychology and political sciences, he holds a PhD in social sciences. He graduated from the Family Violence Prevention Study organised by the “Blue Line” service and from the Solution-Focused Brief Therapy course. Since its creation in 2010, he has been working for the “Grow up with us” Foundation. In 2023 he was awarded a Janusz Korczak Prize.

Matej Bednar (BIK Youth) – Matej recently graduated from an academics-focused high school, looking forward to start studying sociology and journalism in the fall. Since 2019, he is involved with the Better Internet for Kids Youth program, which aims to give young people the floor to have their say on internet safety on a European level. Matej also works for American Councils, an organization which administers language and cultural exchange programs.

She is one of the UKs foremost experts on policy and practice in the area of cybercrime, online safety and internet regulation, providing expert advice to international and national organisations such as the Technology Coalition, UNICEF , the US Sentencing Commission, she is a member of the Europol EC3 Expert Academic Advisory Group.

UK Children's Charities' Coalition on Internet Safety

John Carr LL B (UK Children's Charities' Coalition on Internet Safety) – Advisory Board member of INHOPE the global association of hotlines. He has been a consultant to ECPAT International, Council of Europe, EU, UNICEF, ITU, and, more recently, the UNODC. He is a former Vice President of MySpace and was on Microsoft's Policy Board for EMEA. John was a Visiting Senior Fellow at the London School of Economics and Political Science and authored the chapter on the global history of online child safety in the Oxford University Press Cybersecurity Handbook.

Diljá Björk Styrmisdóttir (Heimili og skóli – national parent association of Iceland) – specialist in parent counselling regarding school matters. Prior, she worked as a consultant for families that faced multifaceted difficulties such as behaviour and emotional problems, in collaboration with social and child protective services, child and adolescent psychiatry hospital, as well as many pre- and elementary schools in Iceland. Diljá has worked with many children, youth, parents and teachers, with emphasis on trauma-focused approach.

Ewa Dziemidowicz (Empowering Children Foundation) – psychotherapist, coach, expert on children and youth online safety, she works at the Empowering Children Foundation. She works with children, youth, and parents in the Empowering Children Foundation counselling centre “Child on the Web”. She conducts trainings and workshops in the scope of online safety, concerning, among others, cybersecurity, sexting, grooming and addiction to new technologies.

He specialises in preventive actions related to children and youth risky online behaviours and the content that is harmful for minors. She has over a decade of experience working as a practicing psychologist in institutions related to health and education of children and youth. Marta Wojtas (Empowering Children Foundation) – psychologist, coach, she is in the process of completing 4-year psychotherapy training in psychodynamic approach. Graduate from the University of Lodz and from the Intercultural Communication Studies at the University of Tampere in Finland. In the scope of her work at the Empowering Children Foundation she coordinates work at the advice centre “Child on the Web”, she works individually with teenagers and parents. Oliwier Nytko (Spider's Web) – journalist at Spider’s Web, author in the technology and science section and creator of short videos at the platforms TikTok, Reels and YouTube Shorts. In 2016, he started his career at the gaming portal How2Play.pl. In 2020, he joined the team creating and developing one of the biggest services for Generation Z in Poland – Vibez.pl, where he was a member of the editors team. He was responsible for writing news, creating short videos, and conducting journalistic interventions.

Julia Piechna (NASK National Research Institute) – manager of the Social Projects and International Cooperation Team at NASK. She has been actively involved in the EC Safer Internet projects dedicated to children safety online. She has gained experience in organizing a number of conferences and trainings devoted to the issue of safety of children using new technologies and developing educational programmes. Since 2022, she has been managing the EC’s co-funded project "Make It Clear – educating young people against disinformation online".

She is an assistant professor at the SWPS University in Poznań, where, apart from her teaching work, she conducts research in the field of self-destructive behaviours, including self-harm and parental acceptance.
